The Central Post and Telegraph Building of Costa Rica is one of the most emblematic historical buildings in the city of San José, as it is one of the few buildings that remain standing from what was the center of the foundation of the city of San José, which had multiple buildings by Italian architects until the second half of the twentieth century when they were demolished. Currently the building is the main headquarters of the company Correos de Costa Rica and the home of the Costa Rican Post, Telegraph and Philatelic Museum.
